"Bad electronic warfare may not harm the enemy. Uncontrolled electronic warfare will also hinder its own." The developers of "Ai-Petri" launched a system for coordinating electronic warfare and interceptor drones in three cities
Ukrainian developers of the Ai-Petri complex are already testing an automated control system for countering drones in Kyiv, Odessa, and Zaporizhia. Now it is being launched in the Dnipro. The program should help coordinate the work of electronic warfare and interceptors so that they do not interfere with each other and can more effectively repel massive attacks.
This was told to "Military" by one of the creators of the complex, a special forces officer with the call sign "Scythian".
According to him, during massive attacks, Ukrainian defenders have to simultaneously track hundreds of targets and decide by what means to stop them. At the same time, each complex has a limited area of action, and the crews do not always have time to coordinate their actions.
Due to insufficient coordination, resources are sometimes spent inefficiently. According to the statistics provided by the developer, it takes about ten flights of interceptor drones to intercept one "shaheed". In addition, electronic warfare equipment can inadvertently jam the communications of its own drones.
"Bad electronic warfare may not harm the enemy. Uncontrolled electronic warfare will also interfere with its own. Therefore, the means should not work individually, but in a single circuit," explains "Scythian".
Therefore, the developers of "Ai-Petri" created a program that combines various means of countering drones into one network. It receives data on the air situation, determines priority targets and distributes tasks between available complexes. The system also selects frequencies for electronic warfare so as not to interfere with its own interceptors, and can change the distribution of tasks when new threats appear.

In addition, the program can manage not only the network of "Ai-Petri" devices.
"This is software that manages the network of AI-Petri tools. It can manage not only AI-Petri, but also other compatible tools. The idea is to gather everything that is available into one fist and correctly distribute the resource during an attack," says "Skif."
According to "Scythian", a person simply does not have time to independently make a huge number of decisions in seconds. After 15-20 minutes of continuous work, the operator begins to lose concentration, while the attack can last for hours. Therefore, the developers seek to transfer routine tasks to the program, and leave the military with control over its work and the ability to interfere in the system's decisions.

However, automation currently covers only a portion of the available equipment. For example, in Kyiv, not all anti-drone equipment is connected to a common network.
To expand its capabilities, the developers propose combining equipment from different manufacturers into a single system. To do this, they believe, common data exchange standards are needed so that new electronic warfare systems and interceptors can work together, rather than separately.
Previously, dev.ua wrote that Ukrainian engineers have created the Ai-Petri SV electronic warfare complex, capable of detecting the positions of Russian drone operators, suppressing communications, and interfering with the operation of FPV drones and guided bombs.
Korven Systems creates OraVision and Mission Control systems for interceptor drones. One will automate guidance, the other will allow for centralized control of interceptors from a command center
The entrepreneur did not warn the military about the installation of electronic warfare systems and silenced six crews of Ukrainian interceptor drones. His enterprise was hit by a "shaheed"
