The Ukrainian company Electroagrotechnic, which produces electric tractors for the agricultural sector, has introduced the Tarantul Cargo ground robotic complex. What are its capabilities?
The Electroagrotechnic ground drone has a range of up to 15 km and can travel up to 30 km off-road on a single charge. The Tarantul Cargo has a speed of up to 16 km/h and can carry 300 kg of cargo, Defender Media notes.
The robot is equipped with a camera capable of operating in night mode and supports the ERLS and Starlink digital communication standards. Tarantul Cargo can overcome obstacles up to 30 cm high and ford water up to 40 cm deep.
Electroagrotechnic also produces a smaller Tarantul drone, which can carry two mines and detonate them. Both ground drones are currently undergoing testing at the range and in combat units. The developers are already preparing for product codification.
Previously, the Ukrainian company Tank Bureau, which specializes in the development, production, and support of ground robotic complexes, created the NUMO drone, which can carry up to 300 kg of cargo.
