Serhiy Pakhomov has been deeply interested in programming since childhood. He received his higher education, like many of his colleagues, at the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, where he expanded his knowledge in the field of cybernetics. Serhiy’s professional development started with writing code, but over time he realized that optimizing the architecture of software products and managing teams are no less important aspects of a successful IT project.
About four years ago, Serhiy drew attention to the potential of blockchain and its opportunities in the financial sector. His work in this area allowed him to create decentralized solutions that eliminate intermediaries and increase the level of trust between users. One of the key achievements was participation in the NEAR hackathon in Kyiv in 2021, where Serhiy Pakhomov’s team received a grant to develop a DeFi platform. In addition to DeFi, Pakhomov is actively developing Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP), a technology that allows data to be verified without revealing its essence.
