The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to extend the state fuel cashback program until May 31. At the same time, new accrual rules will come into effect from May 1.
The maximum amount of refunds for drivers will now be no more than 500 hryvnias per month. According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, establishing such a limit will cover the basic needs of most drivers and allow the state to support a wider range of Ukrainians. According to the department, more than 2 million citizens have already received charges for refueling their cars.
According to the updated terms, the amount of cashback will vary depending on the type of fuel. The largest amount, 15%, will be returned for diesel. 10% will be charged for the purchase of gasoline, and 5% for autogas.
As reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svirydenko, more than 91% of participants are owners of mass-segment cars; the most common models are Volkswagen Passat and Golf, Renault Megane, Skoda Octavia and Fabia, Ford Focus, Daewoo Lanos, as well as VAZ cars; most cars are 10–20 years old; more than 80% have engines up to 2.5 liters.
How to start receiving cashback
Connect your bank cards to the program. Your bank's support service will tell you how to do this.
Open a National Cashback card at your bank.
In Actions, go to the Services — National Cashback section and link this card to receive payments on it.
Pay with a card connected to the program and cashback will be accrued automatically.
We remind you that the state compensation program for the purchase of fuel at Ukrainian gas stations was launched earlier , giving citizens the opportunity to return part of the money spent on refueling to special bank cards.
