American venture capital fund Andreessen Horowitz has released its fifth edition of the Top 100 Gen AI Consumer Apps ranking, which consists of the best 50 web products and 50 mobile applications. The company also publishes a list of 10 services that almost made it to the ranking for the second time.
American venture capital fund Andreessen Horowitz has released its fifth edition of the Top 100 Gen AI Consumer Apps ranking, which consists of the best 50 web products and 50 mobile applications. The company also publishes a list of 10 services that almost made it to the ranking for the second time.
“The ecosystem is starting to stabilize: 11 new names appeared on the web list due to increased traffic. For comparison, there were 17 newcomers in our ranking for March 2025,” Andreessen Horowitz concluded .
As for the list of mobile AI apps, there are 14 newcomers. The company explains the increase in the number by saying that “the App Store has taken action against ‘ChatGPT copying’, which has freed up space for more original mobile apps.”
In addition to the top 100, Andreessen Horowitz has compiled a list of the second (5 web services and 5 mobile apps) that did not end up on the verge.
