New contracts with terms of service, higher payments and automatic transfers to "Army+". The Ministry of Defense spoke about the transformation of the Defense Forces
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is launching a comprehensive transformation of military service. Key innovations will include the introduction of contracts with clearly defined terms, a guaranteed deferral after their completion, as well as the automation of transfers and a simplified mechanism for returning from the NWCH through the «Army+» application.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the launch of the reform. The new approach is designed to strengthen trust in the service, strengthen combat units, and digitize a significant part of the military bureaucracy.
As part of the reform, the military will be offered three types of contracts with clear terms. For combat units, there is an infantry assault contract with a service term of 6+ months (for previously discharged personnel) to 14 months (for civilians). The average salary here will be 300,000 UAH, and accounting for combat missions and additional payments according to the «10/20/40» principle will be carried out using objective control.

For UAV operators, electronic warfare specialists, gunners and operators of ground robotic complexes (GRC), a combat contract is provided for 24 months with payments of up to UAH 120,000. The basic contract for service outside combat units is also designed for two years. After the contracts are completed, servicemen receive a guaranteed deferment, the duration of which will be calculated according to the principle «the longer you fought, the longer the deferment.»
A significant part of the reform is being implemented through the Army+ application ecosystem. Within a week, a function for automatic approval of transfer reports within the military corps will appear in it. Private and non-commissioned officers will be able to use it once a year. The beta test will begin in individual corps, after which the solution will be scaled to all Defense Forces.
In addition, the application will become the main tool for the voluntary return to service of military personnel who previously left the unit voluntarily (SZCh). Instead of lengthy checks, trials, and stay in reserve battalions, soldiers will receive 100 days for a simplified return.
Through «Army+» they will be able to independently choose one of the 55 most effective units, guided by the rating in the Delta situational awareness system. The digital report will be processed up to 7 days, and during the movement the soldier will receive the status «On the road» directly in the application, which will protect him from unnecessary questions at checkpoints.
