22 companies from different countries of the world have become winners of the Partnership for Sustainability Award 2025 from the UN Global Compact in Ukraine. 14 of them are Ukrainian businesses that implement partnership projects in the field of sustainable development.
This is the annual international award of the UN Global Compact in Ukraine and the most prestigious award in the areas of corporate sustainability and ESG. The award recognizes the best partnership projects implemented by business, government and public sectors. The submitted projects are aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, protecting the environment, solving social and economic challenges, as well as promoting peace. The award was launched in 2018. Since then, it has brought together more than 600 cases of successful partnerships that have become examples of sustainable leadership.
This year, the UN DG Ukraine team received 150 applications from over 20 countries. 93 projects were selected for the finals, which was a record in the entire history of the award. The projects were evaluated by an independent international jury with the participation of experts from Harvard University, the London School of Economics, the World Economic Forum, the Basel Institute of Governance and other influential institutions.
Among the Ukrainian businesses that received the Partnership for Sustainability Award 2025, three IT companies are:
The following also received awards: SPP Development Ukraine, Epicenter K, Metinvest, MHP, Agroindustrial Holding "Astarta-Kyiv", JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", Syngenta Ukraine, DTEK: D. Solutions, YASNO brand, UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, Raiffeisen Bank, Ukrainian Demining Agency.
In addition, two charitable organizations became winners: the Ukrainian Food Fund and the Eastern Europe Foundation.
In total, the Partnership for Sustainability Award 2025 brought together participants from Ukraine, Austria, Brazil, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
The awards ceremony took place on December 19 with the participation of heads of leading Ukrainian companies, representatives of the state and public organizations.
