Smilyansky himself reported this on his social media channel.
«We officially announce that the General Director of JSC Ukrposhta, Ihor Smilyansky, continues to fulfill his duties in full accordance with current legislation,» he noted.
The head of the postal operator also added that Ukrposhta is operating as usual and thanked those who have supported it over the past few days.
«To those who saw me off early and to my haters, I don’t even know what to say. But today is not your day. And the money for custom articles and bots would be better spent on the Armed Forces of Ukraine,» Smilyansky commented.
We will remind you that the suspension of Smilyansky, according to the NBU decision, was supposed to take place within five working days, but this period has expired.
After the NBU’s decision, Smilyansky himself stated that he was ready to engage external lawyers to protect the interests of the company and himself as its head, and attributed this to personal antipathy on the part of the head of the National Bank, Andriy Pyshny.
