At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers' Order on the dismissal of Romanyukov A.V. from the position of Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization, signed by Yulia Svyrydenko, was published on August 6.
«I am returning to the Ministry of Defense as the Director of the Digital Transformation Directorate — symbolically, on the anniversary of „Army+“. And I am returning not alone, but with the best team in my native walls. There is a lot of work ahead,» he noted.
Among his priorities in his new and old position, Romanyukov named the continued development of the Army+ and Reserve+ applications, as well as «dozens of other digital projects to strengthen the Defense Forces.»
He also promised to continue the projects started at the Ministry of Strategic Industry. «I’m taking this with my team to our new-old ministry,» Romanyukov added.
As for the reasons for returning to his previous position, Romanyukov explained them in his comments by the transformations in the government, as the Ministry of Strategic Industry was liquidated as an independent ministry and attached to the Ministry of Defense.
Recall that from December 2023 to April 2025, Romanyukov already headed the Directorate of Digital Transformation of the Ministry of Defense. On April 21, 2025, he was appointed Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries.
