"Electronic warfare doesn't work - don't waste your money on it. Spend it on sandbags - and you'll be happy." Kvertus company spoke about a new Russian IPSO aimed at electronic warfare users

Kvertus CEO Yaroslav Filimonov stated that the Russians are purposefully spreading the IPSO regarding the ineffectiveness of electronic warfare on the battlefield and for protecting infrastructure at the current stage of the war.

He said this during the presentation of the «Critically Protected» project, organized by the Association of Unmanned Systems and Related Technologies «ARMADA».

«Our enemy, unfortunately, is not stupid. What did they come up with? They came up with a discrediting strategy regarding electronic warfare. And even journalists asked me questions like: «They say that electronic warfare is no longer working. What will you do?» I say: «And we will continue to do electronic warfare, because whoever says that, let him provide some evidence why this is so,» said Yaroslav Filimonov.

According to him, massive botnets on the Internet were even used to discredit Ukrainian electronic warfare equipment.

«This is a targeted IPSO. I talked to certain structures on this topic, and they showed Botov-like activity, which is aimed at sowing the belief in you all that electronic warfare does not work and that you should not spend money on it. Spend it on sandbags, and you will be happy,» Filimonov ironically commented on the enemy’s discrediting strategy.

The CEO of Kvertus also assured that the electronic warfare systems they produced could be effective even against those Russian drones that use mesh networks.

«There is a smart electronic warfare system that generates interference at any frequency. We can work against these mesh networks. In this case, the drone reacts according to the emergency protocol — it either enters the „figure eight“, or enters the circle, or, if it is a jet drone, it moves away from the distance. This is also additional time for the interceptor to intercept it,» Filimonov noted.

As dev.ua previously reported, Ukrainian technology company Kvertus tested the Azimuth electronic intelligence system to protect port infrastructure and ships.

Last year, the KVERTUS MS AZIMUTH drone detection system received a video signal interception function .
