The Lviv application will be developed by the team of the MISTO digital services platform, which was selected based on the results of the competition, the Lviv City Council reports .
MISTO is a platform that unites all city services. So the new application will become a single point of entry for Lviv residents to all city services at once, including the parking system, payment of fines and public transport fares, petitions, etc.
People will also be able to use their usual apps. Interaction will be automatic.
"We want every Lviv resident to have one application that has everything: parking, fines, public transport, petitions, a survey service, information, payment of local taxes, contacting the hotline, informing about alarms, power outages, shelters, inviolability points, in the end, everything that will simplify the lives of residents," explained Olena Hunko, Deputy Director of the Economic Development Department for Digital Transformation of the Lviv City Council.
According to her, the application has another advantage - the sufficient autonomy of the software on which it is based. For example, if a city needs to create some simple service, notification or map - it can be done independently, without involving a development team.
The city council also emphasized that the project is being implemented with grant funds that the MISTO team received to launch and support the platform for 18 months.
Subsequently, funding from the budget will only be needed for technical support.
