According to Ukrainian intelligence, the use of this high-tech component may indicate attempts by the aggressor to use elements of artificial intelligence to guide and control the missile.
Ukrainian military intelligence has published fresh data in the "Weapon Components" section of the War&Sanctions portal. In total, 35 new electronic components found in enemy weapons samples have been identified.
Among the latest findings of experts:
passive radar head components — Russia began installing them on the Geran-2 UAV to detect and destroy Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile systems and radars;
Chinese camera Honpho TS130C-01 — discovered in the composition of the Geran-4 jet attack UAV;
details of the active homing head — identified in the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missile.
Experts from the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, together with scientists, continue to conduct a detailed study of captured and destroyed enemy weapons. The main goal is to establish the exact origin of foreign parts.
The key conclusion of the intelligence: the two-year experience of the War&Sanctions project has proven that Russia is still unable to replace foreign high-tech components with its own analogues.
Systematic publication of this data helps Ukraine and international partners close loopholes for circumventing sanctions, identify critical technologies, and increase global pressure on the aggressor state.
