Ukraine has received official access to the EU Cybersecurity Reserve, which will allow it to attract leading European experts to repel large-scale cyberattacks.
"In the spring, the Verkhovna Rada ratified this agreement - now all legal procedures have been completed by the EU, and the emergency cyber support mechanism has officially started working," the Ministry of Digital Affairs reported .
The initiative operates under the auspices of the EU Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) in accordance with the European Cyber Solidarity Act. For Ukraine, this means direct access to leading private companies in the field of cyber defense.
"If the enemy seriously attacks state information systems, websites, power grids or other critical infrastructure, Ukraine will be able to send a request and involve European experts. Specialists will help: promptly stop and localize the attack; analyze the threat and protect information; eliminate the consequences and quickly restore the systems," the department explained.
