This is reported by «Military». «January» is capable of covering a range of up to 1,400 km and hitting targets with an accuracy of up to 20 meters. The maximum take-off weight is 140 kg, the warhead weighs 40 kg. The device reaches speeds of up to 200 km/h and operates at altitudes of up to 1,500 meters. The preparation time for take-off does not exceed 15 minutes.
The drone is designed to destroy high-value targets, critical infrastructure facilities, and enemy force concentrations in operational-tactical depth. Key feature: the drone maintains combat capability in conditions of active electronic warfare and operates equally effectively day and night.
The exhibition, alongside «January», also featured the RK-360 «Neptun», AREION and «Flamingo» cruise missiles, Buntar-3, GOR and «Sova-150» drones, Octopus and STING interceptors and the LTEJ Mirage electronic warfare system for the first time. Foreign diplomats were given a tour by representatives of Ukrainian defense companies.
«It is telling that we are updating the exhibition in just a year — this is the pace that modern warfare requires of us. Ukrainian weapons are unique, they are weapons with combat experience,» said Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga.
The annual exhibition at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs demonstrates samples of Ukrainian weapons to foreign diplomats. Compared to last year, the exposition has expanded significantly: several new systems have been added to it. According to Sybiga, this indicates the pace at which the domestic defense industry is developing in conditions of war.
