Secure communications systems developer HIMERA has successfully closed a new investment round, raising over $2.5 million, AIN reported . The funding was led by Green Flag Ventures, which was joined by a number of investors, including Nezlamni, United Angels Network, Freedom Fund, Bulava Capital, UA 1, Big Defence, VYTACH, Varangians, and private investors Dave Morgan, Arnaud Dassier, and James Francis.
The team plans to use the funds raised to scale up production and R&D. The key goal is to improve products that are already actively used on the front, making them even more reliable and resistant to enemy interception.
In addition to strengthening its position in Ukraine, HIMERA continues its expansion to the West. The company already fulfills contracts in the USA and Europe and plans to expand its presence in the international defense-tech market. In particular, the company's products are successfully used abroad after fulfilling the first state order for the Ministry of Defense of a European NATO member country.
Previously, HIMERA introduced a new B1 repeater for radio stations with pseudo-random frequency retuning to extend mesh/MANET network coverage areas to over 20 km.
Recall that earlier, the Ukrainian military tested HIMERA G1 PRO tactical radio stations and achieved stable communication at a distance of 45 km.
