In 2025, Ukrainian-language Twitch collected 63.1 million hours of viewing, with a quarter of them coming from abroad. In which countries do nightingale streams enjoy the most?
Ukrainian continues to break records in live streaming and is already on the verge of entering the top 10 most popular languages on Twitch, ahead of Turkish, Czech, Swedish, and Hungarian. According to analytics company Streams Charts, 25% of the total hours of viewing of Ukrainian-language broadcasts are generated by viewers outside of Ukraine.
"In 2025, Ukrainian-language broadcasts on Twitch generated a total of over 63.1 million hours of viewing. Only 75.8% of them were from viewers who watched the broadcasts from Ukraine. In fact, a quarter of the entire Ukrainian-language live streaming market is generated by viewers from abroad. This can easily be explained by the large flow of Ukrainian immigrants who left the country after the start of a full-scale war," Streams Charts notes.
If we look at the geography of the audience, last year Ukrainian-language broadcasts were most actively watched in Poland - viewers from this country generated over 6.3% of the total hours of viewing of all Ukrainian language content on the platform. It is obvious that almost all of this volume was provided by immigrants, because it is in Poland that the largest Ukrainian diaspora currently lives.
About 4.1% of the total hours of viewing Ukrainian-language broadcasts on Twitch were generated by viewers from the USA. In this indicator, they unexpectedly surpassed even viewers from Germany, where there is also a large Ukrainian diaspora. This result is associated with live broadcasts from Ukrainian esports stars, such as Danylo "Dendi" Ishutin or Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostylev, who have a large fan base abroad and specifically in the USA. The use of American VPN servers can also cause a slight error.
Unexpectedly, the Philippines was in the top 10 countries where Ukrainian-language broadcasts were popular. The 0.5% result may be partly due to bot fraud — there are many sites in this country that provide such services to streamers.
More data about Ukrainian-speaking streamers can be found in the Streams Charts database, which stores channel statistics of all the most popular content creators, regardless of platform, country, or language of broadcast.
