University and college students are being urged to participate in the development of a new technology that could be a game-changer in warfare.
«We are launching a new Brave Students direction for students who want to create war game-changers while studying. Participants will develop technology for „standby“ drones — a mechanical attachment for FPV, which allows them to land and fixate on natural or artificial surfaces at altitude,» the Ministry of Digital Affairs said in a statement on the ministry’s Tg channel.
The competition «Brave Students: Drone with Paws», which will have a prize fund of 90,000, has several stages:
registration and selection task;
development of physical prototypes;
presentation of the jury’s decisions;
a month of work with drone manufacturers and R&D specialists for teams with the highest potential;
flight tests and determination of winners.
At the same time, teams of students formed independently can participate in the competition. Each team must consist of no more than five participants — from one or more educational institutions.
Registration for the competition is open until February 12, and can be done via this link .
