Unex Bank accelerates the development of convenient online payments with Mastercard Click to Pay — without the need to manually enter card details
Kyiv, November 3, 2026 — Unex Bank has introduced automatic connection to the Mastercard Click to Pay service for all its Mastercard cards , providing users with convenient and secure online payments. From now on, Unex Bank clients do not need to separately register their cards in the service: payment with Click to Pay is immediately available for both already active and new bank cards — on the platforms of merchant partners that support the service, it is enough to indicate a mobile phone number and/or email address.

Click to Pay is a global online payment solution that allows users to conveniently make purchases with their card without having to manually enter card details — card number, expiration date, and CVC code — and provides a simple and convenient checkout process. The solution is based on Mastercard’s tokenization technology, which replaces card payment details with a unique digital token, helping to protect card data during online payments.

Click to Pay works across devices and browsers and is available at a growing number of merchant partners. An additional layer of security is provided by Mastercard Payment Passkey, which combines biometric authentication on the device — such as a fingerprint or facial recognition — with tokenization technology to securely confirm transactions. Payment Passkey eliminates the need for passwords or one-time codes, making the payment process faster and more secure. At the same time, sensitive payment data is not shared with third parties, and even if the information is intercepted, it cannot be used by attackers.
The Click to Pay network continues to expand worldwide. In Ukraine, the solution is already available at gerc.ua, komunalka.ua, portmone.com.ua, easypay.ua and other merchant partners that support Click to Pay.
