Broad access to ChatGPT will allow students at California State University (CSU) to integrate artificial intelligence into their studies, and faculty will be able to use it to streamline administrative tasks, freeing up more time for teaching and research.
In addition, the university will introduce a special platform with free training programs and certificates for all students, faculty, and staff to help them master the skills to effectively use AI tools.
“It is critical that the entire education ecosystem—institutions, systems, technologists, educators, and governments—work together to ensure all students have access to AI and learn the skills to use it responsibly. CSU is setting a bold example for the education sector,” said Lee Bielski, vice president and general manager of education at OpenAI.
