Apple One will feature a new service — an AI health coach

Apple One was launched over five years ago. It hasn't received a single new service in that time. But it looks like that could change this year.

Bloomberg insider Mark Gurman has been writing for years about a new paid service that Apple is working on. He called it a “wellness and learning” service.

Last weekend, Gurman said it was an "AI-powered coaching service" that aims to support Apple's huge ambitions in healthcare.

This new service, according to previous reports from Gourmet, will be its own app, will have a monthly fee, and will “keep users motivated to exercise, improve eating habits, and help them sleep better,” writes 9to5Mac.

According to the insider, the idea is to use artificial intelligence and data from the Apple Watch to make recommendations and create training programs for users.

“Early considerations for a virtual health and fitness coach include the ability to generate nutrition, sleep, and exercise recommendations based on data collected from Apple devices… There are also concepts for using the devices’ cameras to track and correct users’ form during workouts, similar to the feature offered on Peloton Interactive Inc’s TV-connected workout device,” Gurman wrote.

In other words, where Apple Fitness+ focuses on providing exercise content, this new AI-powered service will take a more holistic approach. It will analyze your health data and offer smart advice on how to lead a healthy lifestyle.
