Indeema Software and Tykho Electronics announce the launch of the all-Ukrainian competition IoT Challenge: Drone Tech, which is open to students and postgraduates of Ukrainian higher education institutions who want to test their skills in creating solutions in the field of drones, electronic intelligence, and communications.
Indeema, together with the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, is organizing a competition for the third year in a row to educate and popularize Internet of Things technologies among students. This year, the IoT Challenge: Drone Tech competition expands its boundaries to attract talents from all over Ukraine, and also attracts a new partner — the Ukrainian company Tykho Electronics.
Teams that seek to implement their own ideas or projects and try their hand at creating hardware and/or software solutions in the field of unmanned technologies are invited to participate.
How to participate
To participate in the competition, teams (captain and any number of participants) must fill out a form and submit an application with a description of the idea. The deadline for submitting applications is April 25.
How will the competition be held?
Teams will be given one month to develop the project, as well as support from experts from the organizing companies, who, if necessary, will provide the necessary components for the implementation of the project.
The projects will be evaluated by specialists in the field of software and hardware development from Indeema Software and Tykho Electronics. The jury of the competition will be headed by Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Ivan Karbovnyk, Head of the Department of Radio Physics and Computer Technologies of the Faculty of Electronics and Computer Technologies of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
Based on the results of the presentations in the final of the competition, the three best teams will receive grants of UAH 20,000, UAH 12,000, and UAH 8,000.
