DANCER 4.5.0 is a disposable aircraft-type fighter drone designed to effectively intercept enemy reconnaissance and strike UAVs, repeater drones, as well as other aerial targets, reports 24 Channel.
The complex is launched from a pneumatic launcher. The interceptor is capable of hitting air targets at an altitude of up to 4.8 km and at a distance of up to 30 km from the launch site. The device accelerates to 450 km/h.
The main technological advantage of the system is the built-in automatic target acquisition module (ATTS), which works on the basis of artificial intelligence. This technology completely solves the problem of misses in the air: if the first approach to the object was unsuccessful, AI takes control. The drone independently performs a complex maneuver around the target and launches a second attack until it is completely destroyed.
Thanks to the combination of high speed and an intelligent module, DANCER 4.5.0 is particularly effective in complex scenarios — in particular, when enemy drones appear at high altitudes and long distances, where conventional countermeasures may be powerless.
The basic equipment of the complex includes:
two DANCER 4.5.0 interceptor drones;
DANCER-B1 ground command and control station;
pneumatic launcher.
The drone itself is quite compact: its take-off weight is 6.8 kg. At the same time, the device carries a powerful warhead weighing 1 kg.
