Ukrainian companies are increasingly digitizing their processes. They automate document management, fiscalization, reporting, logistics, and HR processes. However, point actions in digital will not help win the business race. Digitalization should become part of the company’s strategy and cover all its processes and areas of activity. Only a systematic approach will allow scaling results and ensure the stability of qualitative changes in the long term.

«In the next 2–3 years, business will undergo accelerated digitalization. The state is stimulating companies to change, and difficult working conditions force them to be flexible, work remotely, and maintain high productivity. If a business is inefficient, its place is quickly taken by someone who works faster, cheaper, and with better quality. Companies are already optimizing most processes using digital solutions and artificial intelligence. Leaders are doing this systematically: they create digitalization strategies, form roadmaps, and consistently follow them,» comments Anton Skokov, head of digital solutions for business at Vchazno.
According to the KPMG in Ukraine study «Ukrainian Business through the Eyes of Managers 2025», presented at the forum, among the key business priorities for the next three years are innovation, talent attraction and adaptation. AI in this context is not just a technology, but the key to efficiency and scaling of human potential. And market leaders see it not as a threat, but as a powerful tool for strengthening the team and processes.

«Currently, most Ukrainian companies see AI as a way to make the present better. In the world, they want to use it more to create tomorrow,» said Serhiy Nebrat, director of the audit department at KPMG in Ukraine.
A representative of Vega Telecom told how automation can reduce the time for document approval from 3 days to 2 hours. In her opinion, we need to move at the expense of quick wins, showing the advantages and benefits to employees. And then the digitalization of one area can affect the strategic development of the entire company.

«Digitalization is not only about technology, but also about trust. When every participant in the process sees a transparent result, digital transformation becomes an integral part of the company’s corporate culture and strategy. It sets the direction for the development of the entire business, and one process organically digitizes the next,» comments Viktoriya Pokhilenko, document management expert at Vega Telecom.
Kernel is another example of a systemic approach to digitalization. They have automated 84% of logistics chains between elevators, factories and terminals. According to Maria Botvinkina, Head of IT Project Development for Document Management and HR at Kernel, the agricultural sector today is not what it was 10 years ago. To remain a leader, companies must consistently make key processes more efficient and be fast at the same time:

«The introduction of digital electronic TTN became a logical continuation of the digital transformation of business. Now our entire document flow is mobile — signing documents takes about 50 minutes. Thanks to this, we managed to eliminate the routine work of checking documents, collecting and storing them»
During the forum, the Vchasno team presented the first business series in Ukraine about digital transformation. The project covered the experience of 14 companies, who shared real stories and their own achievements from the implementation of digital tools.
Traditionally, the Paperless Business Forum in partnership with the Serhiy Prytula Humanitarian Foundation had a charitable component. This year, donations were made for a firefighting drone that will help rescuers work in the most dangerous conditions without risking their lives. We managed to collect over 1 million UAH.
