Partner-VS, a supplier of Vepr ground robotic systems, has announced cooperation with deftech manufacturer Roboneers. As part of the agreement, the remotely controlled combat module "Shablya" will be integrated into the unmanned platform.
Five turret modifications are being considered for integration. These are the "Shabel 7.62" version for PKT machine guns, the "Shabel M240" for 7.62 mm machine guns, the "Shabel K-2" with two AK-74 assault rifles, the large-caliber "Shabel M2" (12.7 mm for Browning M2, Canik M2 or MG-50 QCB) and the "Shabel MK 19(M)" version for 40 mm automatic grenade launchers.
Specialists from both companies are already working on a technical combination of products. The main goal of the cooperation is to provide military units with a flexible mobile platform, the configuration of which can be quickly adapted to specific combat missions on the front line.
The low-profile Vepr robotic complex has been performing tasks at the front since 2024. The platform has a payload capacity of 250 kg, and the speed with two electric motors exceeds 12 km/h. The range of the complex is more than 50 km, while the drone supports six types of communication, including LTE and Starlink.
The Vepr developers told dev.ua about the transformation of the development from a target into a multifunctional ground-based radio-controlled complex. The device is capable of performing logistical tasks, evacuating the wounded, laying chains of anti-tank mines, or acting as a kamikaze robot to destroy enemy positions and accelerate victory over Russia.
“At the front, this kid was able to pull out a shot-up Mitsubishi L200 with soldiers.” What else can the unique VEPR ground drone, one of the first armored drones in Ukraine, do?
