Ukraine has simplified the procedure for maintaining military records at enterprises. From now on, companies and institutions can check and update their employees' data online through the "Diya" portal.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the relevant amendments to the Procedure for Organizing and Maintaining Military Records, the Ministry of Defense reports .
The innovations are designed to minimize bureaucracy: employers will get rid of manual work and the need to duplicate paper lists, and the CCC and the SP will receive up-to-date information without delays and the risk of errors.
What exactly is changing?
Previously, company managers had to submit lists of military-enlisted employees manually in paper form every year. They also had to separately notify the CCC in paper form about hiring or firing an employee, changing their last name or other personal data, and changing their place of residence.
Now all this information can be transmitted electronically. If the report is submitted through "Diya", there is no longer any need to duplicate it on paper.
How does online data update work?
The data submission process has been simplified to just a few steps. The company manager or authorized person only needs to:
log in to the "Diya" portal;
enter the necessary information about the employee;
sign an electronic message with a CEP (electronic signature).
After passing the verification, information about the employee's acceptance or dismissal is updated in the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Military Conscripts and Reservists ("Oberig") within 72 hours.
