"If he doesn't take it down, we will." Zelensky gave Lukashenko a week to remove repeaters for Russian drones from the territory of Belarus
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko that if he does not remove repeaters for Russian drones from the territory of Belarus, Ukraine will do it itself in one way or another.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko that if he does not remove repeaters for Russian drones from the territory of Belarus, Ukraine will do it itself in one way or another.
Zelensky said this on Sunday evening on TSN.
«We have moved to the stage of a public signal. If he doesn’t take it down, we will. It will happen in a week. Either they or us, that’s all,» he noted.
The day before, Zelensky also focused on this topic in his video address, stating that «special equipment has been installed on the territory of Belarus that works for the Russians and helps them carry out drone strikes on our territory.»
In particular, Zelenskyy said that there are at least four such repeaters in the Gomel and Brest regions of Belarus.
«It was thanks to this equipment that attacks were carried out on Zhytomyr, Rivne, and Volyn regions, on our energy sector, on our railways — on ordinary cities, on our villages. Belarus has time to dismantle this equipment,» Zelensky emphasized in his address.
Among other things, the Ukrainian president said that he had information about «every factory in Belarus that works for Russia and works for this war.» He recalled that the work of every enterprise that supplies components for Russian weapons or fuel leads to the actual involvement of Belarus in the war.
He stated that in January-May alone, gasoline supplies from Belarus to Russia increased 13 times, and diesel supplies tripled.
The fact that the ruler of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, is providing the country’s territory for the placement of Russian repeaters for Shahed kamikaze drones was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky back in February of this year.
A programmer was detained in Chernihiv region for attempting to illegally cross the border, planning to flee to Belarus. The court sentenced him to a sentence — and it’s not a fine
