«You don’t have to look for these services somewhere in the menu on the website. You can just tell the agent what you need, and he will provide these services,» said Kysly in an interview with Forbes.
According to him, the voice AI assistant uses ElevenLabs technology, which is mature, filters out unnecessary noise well, and recognizes voices in poor conditions.
«If it still comes out unintelligible, the assistant asks to re-record the request,» he added.
Kisly also assured that the technology does a good job of understanding surzhik.
«If you say „kohfe“ instead of „coffee,“ the assistant will understand you,» said the AI director of the Ministry of Digital Affairs.
In addition, he stated that the partnership with ElevenLabs does not involve financial obligations, and the Ministry of Digital Affairs team has many cases for voice assistants.
«Both in the „Diya“ application and in other services, for example in „Mriya“. The voice assistant can do the same things as a regular chat,» he assures.
As you know, the voice assistant was launched on the Diya portal the day before, and Kisly announced that, most likely, it will also be launched in the application.
«I can’t name a specific date yet. We will also deploy the voice assistant in the application for all services at once. Including for services that are not on the portal,» he made it clear.
