The number of missions of ground robotic complexes in the Ukrainian Defense Forces has increased 3.3 times since the beginning of this year — to 25,000 missions in August.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, operating on data from the DELTA system, in total, since the beginning of the year, the NRC has performed 112,000 logistics and evacuation missions.
Since January, when the NRCs completed over 7,500 missions, the statistics have shown a steady increase. As of May, the robotic complexes had already gone on missions over 14,000 times, and in July — almost 20,000 times.
The Ministry of Defense also recalled that the Defense Procurement Agency recently announced the first tender for the purchase of NRCs in accordance with the specified tactical and technical characteristics.
In addition, as of July, it was known that since the beginning of 2026, the Ministry of Defense has contracted twice as many NRCs as in the entire previous year — 22,000 ground drones.
As dev.ua wrote, the Polish defense holding «Polish Armaments Group» (PGZ) is launching a joint project to produce ground robotic complexes in partnership with a Ukrainian company.
