Ukrainian engineers have created a mobile electronic warfare system to protect against drones. How AD CERBERUS from Kvertus works
Ukrainian technology company Kvertus has introduced a new mobile electronic warfare system called AD CERBERUS, which can be installed on vehicles. It is designed to protect against attacks by radio-controlled drones and is capable of operating at a distance of more than 100 meters, depending on the application conditions.
The AD CERBERUS device operates for up to 12 hours and adapts to the user’s needs. It has remote antennas and allows you to design EW systems with your own set of 1 to 12 bands.
The system has a modular design that allows users to configure it themselves. Up to three separate modules can be assembled, each of which supports from one to four frequency bands. Thus, AD CERBERUS provides flexibility of configuration and can have up to 12 active interference bands.
Jamming signals are transmitted using quadrifilar antennas, which create a reliable dome protection around the car. The system is capable of operating up to 12 hours in continuous mode after an hour’s pause, if powered from a standard 220 V electrical network. The time to bring it to full combat readiness is no more than 30 seconds.
