Ukrainian entrepreneur, founder of fintech ecosystem W Group and crypto exchange WhiteBIT, Volodymyr Nosov, is acquiring a significant stake in Dutch premium car manufacturer Spyker Cars. The deal will see Spyker become part of W Group and launch a new technology division, Spyker Digital, which will develop blockchain solutions for the automotive segment.
The acquisition of the asset was announced in an official press release from W Group. The parties are not disclosing the financial details of the deal and the exact size of the acquired stake. For the Ukrainian fintech holding, this step means scaling the business beyond digital assets and entering the real production sector.
The main technological vector of the partnership will be the launch of Spyker Digital. This division will focus on developing blockchain infrastructure for the premium car market. According to the partners, the integration of cars with tokens, NFTs and other digital products will help improve customer experience and interaction with the brand.
WhiteBIT founder Vladimir Nosov noted that he has long been investing in rare cars. «I am delighted to join this boutique brand as a co-owner. My goal is not just to restart production, but to rethink the brand for a new era, preserving its classic values. Spyker Digital will be a synergy of European engineering and the digital economy, where a sports car is integrated with blockchain products,» he commented.

Spyker Cars founder and CEO Victor Muller called the partnership an important milestone on the company’s return to the market. According to him, the involvement of Vladimir Nosov and the investment of W Group will give the automaker long-term strategic support and access to technological expertise.
The first joint step of the partners will be the presentation of the new Spyker C8 Preliator XXV sports car. The model is equipped with a non-hybrid V8 engine with twin turbocharging with a capacity of 800 hp and is capable of reaching speeds of up to 350 km/h. The car is planned to be presented in August 2026 at the prestigious auto shows The Quail and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California.
