The successful operation was announced on social media by the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert "Magyar" Brovdi, and details about how the Russians themselves set up the facility for attack were published by activist and volunteer Serhiy Sternenko.
The 178,600 m² logistics complex is one of the company's key hubs in the Volga region. The facility provided distribution and delivery of goods to the Samara region and neighboring regions, supporting the Wildberries network in central European Russia, and also served as an important transport bridge with the Urals and Siberia.
"I wouldn't expect a 'purple parcel' with drones and vibrators in the Urals and Siberia. The wild berry Samara hub 'Novosimeykino', which is the main logistics bridge between the European part of the Russian Federation and dumplings with Siberians, crashed and went out of business," Brovdy noted.
According to him, this is the tenth effective strike on the network's facilities, not counting smaller warehouses and distribution centers that were damaged earlier. As a result of the attack, the distribution hub was completely blocked, which caused disruptions in the logistics and delivery system in Russia.
The SBS commander noted that residents of the aggressor country should get used to new conditions, because a comfortable life during war has its price, and attacks on infrastructure will continue.
"The WB warehouse in Novosemeykino was destroyed. Nearby, the Russians painted the Russian flag with the symbols "ZV", which are visible from space. And this attracted the attention of drones. No joke," commented Serhiy Sternenko on the SBS strike.
Recall that last month, the Defense Forces began attacking logistics facilities of Russia's largest marketplace Wildberries . In particular, on the night of July 31, several large distribution centers and hubs of the Russian marketplaces Wildberries and Ozon in the Volgograd region and the Republic of Tatarstan were hit at once. Since July , Ukrainian drones have attacked more than 10 warehouses and logistics centers of the Wildberries company in various regions of the enemy.
