How to help Ukrainians in Spain. Donations, accommodation, clothing, volunteering
About 110,000 Ukrainian refugees have moved to Spain since the start of the war. About 40,000 of them have already legalized their stay. There is a fairly large Ukrainian diaspora in the country, which is why many Ukrainians have come to live with their relatives, friends or acquaintances. There are charitable foundations, humanitarian aid collection points, and websites in Spain where people affected can ask for support.
How to stand with Ukraine presents a series of materials on how to help those affected by the war in Ukraine: where to send money, bring clothes and food, how to help refugees find temporary or permanent accommodation, and more. In this article we have compiled a list of useful links for those who want to help Ukrainians in Spain.
Since the beginning of the war, Spain has been actively collecting humanitarian aid. Most collection points are located in churches, schools, and cultural centers. You can bring medicines, antibiotics, thermal underwear, military gear, dry food, and hygiene products to the collection points. You can also join to help on the spot on any convenient day. More often than not, you will have to pack things into boxes and load them onto trucks.
