Production of Octopus interceptor drones will reach 1,000 units in February

Shmyhal reported on a meeting with British Defense Minister John Healy, at which they signed a roadmap for the development of a century-long partnership in the defense sector.
«Great Britain has already made a significant contribution to strengthening our capabilities to repel Russian terror. Since February, we have been producing 1,000 Octopus interceptor drones per month,» the Ukrainian minister noted.
He added that the meeting also discussed the possibilities of joint strategic industrial projects in the field of air defense and long-range weapons.
Earlier, the Ukrainian and British delegations of the Ministries of Defense of both countries also signed a licensing agreement that will allow the production of Octopus interceptor drones in the UK. This is a cheap and technologically simple tool against the Shahed, which should reduce the burden on expensive air defense systems and improve the economy of air defense.
It is known that the General Chereshnya company also joined the production of Octopus interceptor drones under license from the Ministry of Defense.
