According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Veteran Venture Program offers an eight-week intensive that shows the entire process of creating a startup — from an idea to creating an MVP and preparing a presentation for investors.
The program is backed by venture builder SKELAR, which has dozens of businesses in various niches from EdTech to marketplaces. The company describes the Veteran Venture Program as an ecosystem of support for IT veterans, including training, mentoring, incubation, and investment.
«The result is that you run your own tech business that successfully operates in the international or local market», — the project website states.
The Veteran Venture Program covers the following stages:
Ukrainians with confirmed veteran and combat veteran status and over two years of experience in IT can participate in the program free of charge. Other requirements include market understanding, project implementation at any stage (including the idea), and a team (with at least one other participant with technical or business experience).
