Companies have paid over UAH 4 billion in "Google tax" since the beginning of the year

This was reported on her Facebook page by the Acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh. In 2025, 3.5 billion was paid during this period, while this year 4.2 billion UAH was received in the budget.
«These funds are paid by non-residents who supply electronic services to individuals in the customs territory of Ukraine and are registered as VAT payers. In particular, in January-February 2026, 38.5 million euros and $52.1 million were paid,» Karnaukh said.
The biggest payers were Apple, Google, Valve, Meta, Sony, Etsy and Netflix.
Currently, 151 non-residents who supply electronic services to individuals in the customs territory of Ukraine have already registered as VAT payers. In January, there were 145 such payers.
Let us recall that in 2025, the «Google tax» replenished the Ukrainian budget by more than UAH 14.4 billion .
