Adobe has released Premiere mobile for Android. You can edit videos, work with multiple tracks, and export videos in 4K for free, as the basic features don't require a Creative Cloud subscription or even an Adobe account.
Premiere mobile supports multi-track editing. You can add as many video tracks as you want to the timeline, trim or split clips, apply effects and transitions, extract audio from video, remove background noise, and record voiceovers. And you can export finished videos in up to 4K resolution. In addition, the application does not add watermarks or display ads.
Premiere also adapts to different screens. On a regular smartphone, the preview is at the top and the timeline is at the bottom. On foldable devices and larger screens, the interface is rearranged to leave more room for editing.
You'll have to pay mostly for AI. Premiere mobile has built-in video generation from text and images via Adobe Firefly, as well as Google's Veo, Luma Ray, and Kling models. Users get 250 AI credits per month. That's enough for a few short generations via Veo Fast or one Firefly video, for example. And for $8 per month or $70 per year, Adobe offers 1,200 credits per month.
However, the mobile version cannot yet fully replace the desktop Premiere. It lacks some of the professional tools. But Adobe already promises to add keyframes, improved subtitle work, Adobe Fonts, and the ability to start a project on a smartphone and continue it on a computer.
Previously, dev.ua wrote that Adobe released mobile Premiere for iPhone.
