Adobe has announced a major integration with Slack, bringing more than 70 tools from its most popular apps directly to the enterprise messaging app, enabling users to complete a wide range of creative and work-related tasks without leaving their work chats.
Adobe has announced a major integration with Slack, bringing more than 70 tools from its most popular apps directly to the enterprise messaging app, enabling users to complete a wide range of creative and work-related tasks without leaving their work chats.
The new functionality covers the capabilities of Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express, Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Stock and Lightroom, Engadget reports .
After installing the Adobe app in Slack, users can submit tasks directly to Slackbot. The chatbot automatically selects the most appropriate Adobe tools to complete the request, based on content from Slack channels, Canvases documents, or Adobe Creative Cloud assets.
With the update, users will be able to:
convert spreadsheets into visual infographics;
create marketing content and posts for social networks using ready-made templates;
perform mass automated processing of a large number of images.
The Adobe app for Slack is now available to Slack Business+ and Enterprise+ subscribers on the web, desktop, and mobile apps.
The integration was made possible thanks to Slackbot's support for the Model Context Protocol, which the messenger developers launched in June (Figma and Canva previously received similar solutions).
It is not necessary to have a separate Adobe account to use basic features, but having one opens up full access to the entire range of tools.
