«This day has come — Ukrposhta is distributing different categories of customers to different „corners of the ring“ (in fact, to separate windows): recipients of parcels (among whom there are many young people and hipsters) and customers of respectable age,» Smelyansky wrote on Facebook.
He said that the «Express Window» will be marked in black and yellow in the branches. It will allow you to quickly:

According to him, other services, such as pensions, payments, and letter forwarding, will be provided in a universal window. The head of Ukrposhta added that the company «analyzed the nature of queues in detail» during the preparation of the project.
«Sometimes it’s a really long procedure, for example, when legal entities or notaries come to send a lot of letters. Sometimes we are visited by those who just want to chat: a grandmother can discuss important matters while receiving her pension, transfer meter readings, etc.,» says Ihor Smilyansky.
According to him, Ukrposhta serves «both pensioners and hipsters» and creates comfortable conditions for «both worlds.» Smilyansky added that since September 8, the pilot project «Express Window» has been operating in over 1,500 city branches of Ukrposhta.
In the winter of 2025, Ukrposhta completed the automation of its sorting facilities and now processes 100% of parcels on robotic lines, which allows it to process up to 2 million shipments per day.
«2025 is the year of completion of the largest reforms of Ukrposhta, and sorting automation is one of the key ones… From now on, parcels across the country will arrive faster, and the risk of loss or error will be minimal,» noted the head of Ukrposhta, Ihor Smilyansky.
