Problems in the Anthropic ecosystem began around 16:40 Kyiv time. Users massively encountered high error rates, timeouts, and service failures.
What exactly went wrong:
Developers are reporting broken coding sessions, inability to verify Merge Requests, stalled debugging routines, and failures in security automation pipelines.
«Due to an infrastructure issue, there is a partial outage of Claude Code, API, and claude.ai. We are working to resolve the issue, but we cannot yet provide an estimated resolution time,» Anthropic said.
At the same time, the Anthropic console and the Claude for Government solution continued to operate normally.
At the same time, the OpenAI service also experienced outages. On the Downdetector platform, the number of complaints about ChatGPT’s operation quickly exceeded 30,000.
In Ukraine, users have recorded over 400 reports of crashes. When trying to open the chatbot from Ukrainian IP addresses, the service returns a system error 404 Not Found.
Elon Musk’s company xAI has also been hit by technical difficulties. The first reports of a failure in the Grok chatbot appeared around 4:00 PM Kyiv time.
When trying to generate an answer or write a hint, users of social network X (Twitter) receive the message: «This model is not available. Try another model.»
Representatives of xAI and Platform X are currently refraining from official comments regarding the causes of the incident.
There are also problems with the operation of Gemini Google.
