Rakuten Viber has announced the launch of an AI-powered messaging enhancement feature that allows you to correct and translate text directly in the input field.
Rakuten Viber has announced the launch of an AI-powered messaging enhancement feature that allows you to correct and translate text directly in the input field.
Messaging improvements correct errors, adjust tone, and even translate text into other languages when needed. The developers envision that users can quickly turn a draft typed on the fly into structured text.
To use the feature, you need to click the button to the right of the input field and select the desired action: improve the text, change its tone, or translate it. The resulting version can be sent to the chat or generate a new one.
Message text is enhanced using OpenAI models. Message data is not used to train AI and is deleted immediately after processing.
It is noted that the improved messaging feature will become available to all users in Ukraine in the coming days.
