Ajax Systems will pay for the trip of 60 Ukrainian students to the CES 2027 in Las Vegas. This year, the number of participants in the program will be twice as high as last year. Over 1,000 applications were submitted for selection.
Students from 77 universities in 25 cities of Ukraine will travel to Las Vegas in January 2027. Among the applicants were representatives of 34 specialties. The largest number of applications came from future specialists in computer science, software engineering, cybersecurity, electronics, instrument making, radio engineering, and computer engineering.
The questionnaires were evaluated by independent expert teachers from KNU, KPI, KAI, NULP, and NaUKMA. They took into account the candidates' academic performance, technical and scientific projects, extracurricular activities, and motivation. According to the organizers, 52% of students who participated in the selection had an average academic score of over 90 out of 100.
For Ajax Systems, this is the second trip of Ukrainian students to CES. Last year, the company sent 30 students to the exhibition, and this year it increased the number of participants to 60.
"The most important thing is not just to give young people the opportunity to see world-class technologies, but to show them that they can create them themselves. That is why we are bringing Ukrainian students to CES for the second time in a row. Twice as many as last year. We received over 1,000 applications and selected 60 participants — young people who already have ambitions to change the world today," said Oleksandr Konotopsky, founder and chairman of the supervisory board of Ajax Systems.
CES 2027 will be held January 6–9 in Las Vegas. Students will visit the stands of global technology companies, learn about new developments, and have the opportunity to communicate with industry representatives and present their own ideas.
The trip is part of the Ajax Next educational ecosystem, which Ajax Systems is developing to support engineering education in Ukraine. The initiative is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, and Ukrainian universities — Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Kyiv National University of Technology, Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, and NaUKMA.
According to Ajax Systems, Ajax Next educational projects have already reached over 3,400 students and schoolchildren. Within the ecosystem, the company has supported seven technical Olympiads, equipped five laboratories where over 1,200 students gained practical experience, and organized 12 training programs.
