«When motion or an object is detected, the devices switch from IR to white light and transmit a color image instead of black and white. This feature helps identify vehicle details, clothing colors, and other visual cues that may be less visible in IR mode. The sudden activation of white light can also have a deterrent effect: intruders will realize that the camera is recording and that they have been noticed,» the company’s press release states .
The new hybrid illumination cameras are available in three form factors, and users have three camera modes to choose from.
All models support True WDR technology, which ensures image clarity in low light.
In addition, Ajax cameras combine motion detection with AI-powered object recognition and distinguish between people, animals, and vehicles.
«AI data processing takes place at the camera level itself. This ensures fast response and complete data confidentiality, and also eliminates the need for additional equipment or subscriptions. Remote firmware updates allow for continuous improvement of AI, including optimizing detection algorithms and analytics,» the manufacturer reports.
Users can also set hidden areas to hide certain parts of the frame, both from archived recordings and when viewing live video. For example, if a safe comes into the camera’s field of view, it can be hidden, leaving all other objects visible to the camera.
The devices are available at a recommended price of UAH 5,799 to UAH 7,699, depending on the model.
