SET University in partnership with the Tokarev Foundation is launching the third batch of Generation H, an acceleration program for medical technologies, which this year became international for the first time. Startups and teams can apply regardless of the country of residence. The best team can receive 650,000 UAH.
Among the 30 projects that have already passed the program are solutions that stand out on a global level. For example, Ovul is the world's first AI-device for tracking fertility based on saliva analysis; TAYRA.AI is an AI-medical scribe that automatically structures doctor's consultations; M Shield is the development of a drug that blocks the spread of metastases; Touch vision is a comprehensive system designed to improve users' visual-motor skills and reaction speed.
What's included in the Generation H 3.0 program
The 10-week program covers:
personalized mentoring from practitioners from Ukraine, Europe and the USA
business model validation and global go-to-market strategy
product crash tests and workshops on entering the international market
AMA sessions and individual matchmaking with investors
expert support on regulatory and compliance issues
access to the international HealthTech ecosystem
650,000 UAH for the best team
Format — hybrid: online and offline events, mandatory attendance at key offline sessions. An online format is available for participants from abroad, which does not require relocation.
About mentors
The program involves practitioners with real-world experience in the industry, including:
Fergus O'Dea is Vice President of Commercial Operations at FIRE1, one of the fastest growing medtech businesses in the world (capital raised over $200 million), and former head of venture capital at NDRC.
Eric Henry is a senior advisor in the FDA and regulatory compliance practice at the law firm King & Spalding, with over 30 years of industry experience.
Alexa Sinyacheva is a co-founder of Moeco, a Techstars mentor, and has been helping startups from seed to Series A enter the market and attract investment for 15 years.
Volodymyr Nerubenko is a serial HealthTech entrepreneur, co-founder of TerraLab, Lab24, and Liki24 Foundation, with 15 years in the industry.
Who can apply?
The program is open to startups and companies in the HealthTech sector that have an MVP or finished product, proven revenues or first sales, and are ready for intensive work for three months.
A key change for the third season: Generation H 3.0 expands beyond Ukraine. Founders and teams working abroad can apply on an equal footing with teams within the country. This is the program's first step towards forming a full-fledged international HealthTech community around the Ukrainian hub.
Applications are now open and will continue until May 24. You can apply via the link .
