The Unmanned Systems Forces presented the Alligator-9 naval anti-ship UAV.
The naval drone itself is a platform on which various weapons can be placed depending on the tasks assigned, writes «Military».
Among them are the installation of the Tryzub 90 laser complex or the use of the platform as a carrier for smaller drones, such as the Alligator 5 ToD, which perform the functions of kamikaze drones or torpedoes.
The Alligator-9 naval drone can carry from 6 to 10 of these kamikaze torpedoes, which allows it to effectively combat enemy surface ships with small displacement.
Footage of the new drone was published in the official video of the Unmanned Systems Forces.
Other options include a configuration for electronic warfare, in which the naval UAV acts as a carrier for 3 to 5 Alligator 5 EW drones and provides a breakthrough through the use of electronic warfare and electronic warfare (EW) equipment, and can also perform mine clearance and navigation support.
The variant with the installed Tryzub laser complex is capable of destroying strike drones, aerial bombs, cruise and ballistic missiles at a distance of up to 3,000 m, as well as helicopters, airplanes and reconnaissance drones at a distance of up to 5,000 m.
Also, the laser can be used to blind drones, cruise missiles, helicopters and airplanes at a distance of up to 10,000 m.
