This was reported by Allegro spokesman Marcin Hrushka to Forbes Ukraine.
Allegro is one of the largest online trading platforms in Poland. In June 2026, the company launched the Allegro International Ukraine service, which allows Polish sellers to deliver goods to Ukrainian buyers.
So far, only a select group of Polish sellers have been involved in the project. Together with them and delivery services, Allegro is working out the entire process: how to place orders, securely make payments, and deliver purchases from Poland to Ukraine.
The next step is to gradually connect more sellers. However, the company has not yet said when exactly this will happen and how large the service will be. It all depends on whether Ukrainians are interested in shopping on Allegro.
"We see significant potential in the Ukrainian e-commerce market, but at this stage we are focusing on testing the value proposition — both for sellers and end consumers. It is the results of the pilot that will determine the further steps and scale of the project," explained Hrushka.
Previously, dev.ua wrote that Allegro is preparing to enter the Ukrainian market. At that time, Polish media, citing their own sources, reported that the company could launch a separate marketplace Allegro.ua as early as 2027. Now the company has clarified that there are currently no such plans.
