An American entrusted ChatGPT with the sale of his house: how AI coped with the task
It took a Florida homeowner just five days to sell their property using ChatGPT, which took over almost the entire process instead of a realtor.

"I really wanted to challenge myself and use AI for the entire process, rather than doing it piecemeal. Every step of the way," homeowner Robert Levine told NBC.
The chatbot developed a complete sales schedule, including when to start packing, suggested which rooms to repaint for maximum profit, created marketing materials for showing the home and online listings, recommended listing the home on Tuesday, and drafted a contract.
Levin only hired a lawyer to review the final legal documentation. All other stages of the process, from pricing to arranging showings, were handled through ChatGPT.
Levin said the sale announcement was made on Tuesday, March 3, and within the first 72 hours, five offers were received. By Sunday morning, the contract had been signed.
"It exceeded our expectations," he said in a comment to the TV channel.
Levin noted that this approach allowed him to save about 3% of the total sales, which was a significant savings for his family.
At the same time, he emphasized that each home sale is unique, and expressed his belief that AI tools like ChatGPT will not be able to completely replace realtors, even though their role in the industry is rapidly growing.
The AI even suggested a moving company to help with moving to a new house.
