This person will be responsible for managing all of Neros' business operations in Ukraine — from business development, sales, product launches to customer support.
«This role will become the face of the company in Ukraine and a model for further international expansion. We are convinced that UAS innovations (unmanned aerial systems) developed in Ukraine will define the global market for years to come,» the job description says.
The position involves close cooperation with company management, product teams, Ukrainian drone manufacturers, and partners — in accordance with the needs of our customers in Ukraine. The selected candidate will report directly to the company’s CEO.
Main responsibilities
Establish effective communication with Ukrainian government leaders, drone manufacturers, and military users to understand needs and promote Neros products.
Regularly visit customers and field offices in Ukraine to collect feedback, evaluate product performance, and coordinate technical support.
Develop business goals together with company management and form a team to achieve them.
Provide liaison with the company’s technical teams to resolve field issues and implement new features.
Develop a product support plan and form an appropriate team.
Plan resources and hire specialists — engineers, product managers, logisticians, technical specialists.
Manage partnerships by coordinating schedules, integration milestones, and risks.
Candidate requirements
6+ years of management experience in a technology company, preferably in the UAS field.
Creative thinking and the ability to solve complex problems.
Experience in communicating with top business and government officials.
Ability to work independently in an international team with minimal supervision.
Ability to form and develop a local team.
Market understanding and ability to quickly master new products.
Strong leadership skills.
Fluency in Ukrainian and English.

Business Development Manager
The Business Development Manager in Ukraine will be responsible for expanding Neros' presence in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. This role is key to building the company’s reputation, attracting new contracts, and combining cutting-edge Ukrainian technologies with our R&D teams in the US.
Responsibilities include identifying new opportunities, closing deals, and positioning Neros as a leading partner in the FPV drone sector in Ukraine.
Responsibilities
Development and implementation of Neros' interaction strategy with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, acting as the company’s main contact representative for all interactions with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Ensuring direct and indirect sales of Neros equipment to Ukraine, including through partner countries and donor assistance mechanisms.
Organization of demonstration flights, training sessions and operator training programs.
Representing Neros Ukraine at trials, customer meetings, and key industry events in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
Collaborate with the EMEA team to collect and share operational feedback with European Ministries of Defense.
Search and development of partnerships with Ukrainian companies to jointly develop solutions and accelerate business growth.
KPIs for 3–6 months
Official Ministry of Defense letters have been submitted for existing requests for units in the «thousands» scale;
Funding pathways agreed (EU/donors);
The first deals have been launched, a stable flow of deals and regular reporting have been established.
Requirements
Proven military experience in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, ideally experience with sUAS or equivalent experience in the field of Ukrainian defense procurement.
In-depth knowledge of FPV drones.
Technical understanding of FPV systems: how they are built, configured, maintained, and controlled.
Excellent communication skills, ability to explain technical complexities to senior military and government officials.
Proven experience working in or with defense/military organizations.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, unpredictable startup environment.
Willingness and ability to travel throughout Eastern Europe for customer support, training, and testing.
