The Antimonopoly Committee (AMCU) did not accept the second application of the mobile operator Kyivstar to purchase the medicine booking service Tabletki.ua.
As a reminder, in February, Kyivstar submitted a second application to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to acquire Tabletki.ua. The first attempt was in November. The operator intended to buy LLC MTPK, the main legal entity of the Tabletki.ua medicine booking service. Then the Committee did not return it to the applicant.
Tabletki.ua is a website and app where you can find and reserve medications at a specific pharmacy, and then buy them at a retail outlet. The service for 10 million users was built by the Muravshchyk family with partners.
The current price of Tabletki.ua could be $30-80 million, according to the assessment of the analytical department of Forbes Ukraine. In 2024, 12,000 retail outlets cooperated with Tabletki.ua. This is almost 70% of the country’s entire pharmaceutical retail.
