Andriy Hrytsenyuk is leaving the position of CEO of Brave1. Who will lead the cluster during the transition period?

CEO Andriy Hrytsenyuk is leaving the position of executive director of the Brave1 defense innovation cluster.

The cluster’s press service reported this to dev.ua.

They reminded that Hrytsenyuk joined Brave1 with a new team in May 2025.

Among his achievements were:

  • the ability for military personnel to exchange earned ePoints for drones and other assets on the Brave1 Market marketplace;
  • launch of an updated grant program with an accelerated application review procedure;
  • development of technologies — in particular, remote control systems, turrets, automatic homing modules, amphibious NRCs, repeaters, Starlink spacecraft, etc.;
  • an established infrastructure for system testing of innovative weapons models based on Brave1 and the NEXT unit;
  • the start of a program for independent production of Ukrainian components based on Brave1;
  • launching large-scale grant competitions for the development of cheap anti-aircraft missiles, autonomous drones, and scaling up the production of explosives;
  • the launch of the Brave Students program and the joint launch of research centers of excellence at universities with the Ministry of Education and Science.

At the same time, as the press service assured, the Brave1 management team will remain in their positions — in particular, Viktor Rudenko will continue to perform the duties of head of the Innovation Development Fund, and Brave1's operations director Iryna Zabolotna will focus on developing the cluster during the transition period.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs put an end to the issue of subordination of the defense cluster: Brave1 remains under the management of the Ministry of Digital Transformation. Documents regarding its subordination have already been duly executed.
