Ukrainian DefenseTech company BlueBird Tech has introduced a new CLOVER 5.8 GHz antenna. It is designed for transmitting and receiving radio signals in the 4.9–6.1 GHz range and is now available for sale.
The antenna was designed for systems where radio communication stability is critical, in particular for modern unmanned aerial vehicles and radio-technical complexes.
CLOVER 5.8 GHz uses a cloverleaf design, circular polarization, and omnidirectional radiation pattern. According to the manufacturer, this should ensure stable operation of the radio link in conditions where the system or communication objects are constantly changing positions.
At the same time, the antenna has compact characteristics: the operating range is 4.9–6.1 GHz, the gain is about 2 dBic, and the weight is only 25 g.
The connection uses an SMA male and RG402 cable. BlueBird Tech notes that the antenna can be integrated into various radio systems, including FPV complexes, UAV detection devices, radio monitoring systems, and measurement equipment.
«We want to create not individual components, but a technological base that you can rely on. CLOVER 5.8 GHz is the next step in the development of BlueBird Tech’s own line of antennas: compact, lightweight and ready for integration into modern radio systems,» the company’s engineers note.
BlueBird Tech adds that the development of its own line of antennas should increase the efficiency of using various radio equipment at the front.
